Biography
Trijntje Jans Flapstra was born in 1774, probably in Grootegast and baptized there on June 5, 1774, the daughter of Jan Popkes and Hinke Hansen. At age 33 she married 43 year old Fedde Ruurds Ystra, the widower of Geeltje Luitzens on May 10, 1807. She died on July 15, 1847 in Buitenpost when she was 73 years old.
