Some people lay Teet was actually Teet Jans Groot, daughter of Jan Jacobsz Groot and Grietje Willems Posthumius. However, this Teet married Pieter Jansz Mantel in 1759. Records prove that our Teet remained married to Meijndert Groen all the way until her death in 1788.
