DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Pieter by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Pieter:

Looking at the source, left page, first entry... correct me if I'm wrong, but it should be right page, first entry. Also could the marriage entry be translated so I can understand it, I tired Google Translator but i made no sense. I can only guess what it means. This what I got. "Pieter Janse van Amsterdam, aged 28 years in the Spinhuijsteeg, dead parents assisted with his brother Michael Janse x Anna Carels Amsterdam, aged 18, on the Lojersgracht assisted her father Carel Pieterse signed (?): Pieter Janse and X"

Thank you, Dennis Ling
