Joannes was born in 1728 and baptized on 27th june of that year in Neerbosch, Nijmegen, Gelderland, Republic of the Seven United Netherlands. He is the son of Jan Jansen and Maria Thunissen. Sponsors at his baptism were Thunis Jansen and Belie Jansen.[1]
