Biography

Zacharias, the son of Johan Andersson and his wife Catharina Svensdotter, was baptized in Broddarp parish 19 March 1756.^[1]

Zachris Jansson married Gretha Larsdotter in Kinneved parish 3 November 1785.^[2] Zachris and Gretha lived in Måsegården (Mossegården)^[3] and then in Halsarp.^[4]

In the household record that was current at the time of his death, the birth date of farmer Z. Jansson in Halsarp is noted, stating that he was born 19/3 1756 in Eriksberg.^[5]

Zacharias Janss(on) in Halsarp, Kinneved, died of old age 9 May 1826.^[6]

Research note

Broddarp was one of the parishes in Eriksberg pastorate, and when people moved out from the pastorate, the birth parish was usually replaced with the pastorate.

There is a water spill across her given name, which makes it hard to see, but it is clear in the record for their daughter Anna.
