Biography
Johan Skänck's child at Källstorp was born 10 January 1713. In the birth book his name is Erik.[1]
There is a possibility that he was the child of Johan Skänck who died 13 January 1715, although he is in the death record as Gudmund.[2] On the other hand the records for Tengene seem a bit patchy around this time. (Was the vicar getting old?) But it was his mother, Ingeborg Gudmundsdotter, who grew up in Källstorp and his grandfather, Gudmund Svensson had died in 1711, so his parents had good reasons to name him Gudmund.
