Birth: 30 May 1901 Ernst Fritjof was born in Klövedal parish, Göteborg och Bohus county, Sweden. His parents were Janne Bernhard Johannesson (fisherman) and Augusta Torberntsdotter. 9 June 1901 Ernst was baptized.^[1]

Childhood: He lived with his parents and siblings at Sumpen, Klövedal parish, Göteborg och Bohus county, Sweden.^[2], ^[3]

Migration: Ernst leaves Klövedal parish 13 July 1927. 15 July 1927 he left Sweden from Göteborg by boat. Destination New York. ^[4]
