He died on February 26, 1861, in Rosendal, Västmanland, Sweden, at the age of 68, and was buried in Västra Skedvi, Västmanland, Sweden. [3]

1825 - 1831 In Bodatorp, Västra Skedvi, Västmanland. The crofter Abraham Jansson arrives in 1825. Son Johan Frans is born in 1827.[5]
