Obituary

The sad news reached Athens last evening of the death of Dr. W. H. Jarrell, which sad event occurred at 2 o'clock last afternoon, at his home near Lexington. He had been sick for about one week with pneumonia. Oglethorpe loses one of her best and truest citizens and the afflicted a warm friend. The bereaved family have our deepest sympathy.^[9]
