Biography
John Jarvis migrated from England to Maryland, Colonial America.
John was born about 1720,[1] while some say 1725. He was allegedly born in England and came to America in the 1750s. Joseph Jervis, immigrant from Nantwich, Cheshire, England, and his wife Esther, had a son John Jarvis, born about 1724 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Could this be the John Jarvis who married Hannah Hill? He passed away about 1795, some references say in Monongalia County, Virginia, but Baltimore or Harford County, Maryland would be more likely.
