Don't forget to ask for help if you need it! WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.
In case you haven't seen it, our G2G Question of the week is: What's the most interesting news item you've found about one of your ancestors?"
Looking for some great ways to help out our collective effort? The Volunteers Needed page is the place to go!

WikiTree is different from other genealogy websites because our goal is to have one profile per person. That means we will all share ancestors and work together as a collaborative team! The Honor Code helps keep everything functioning smoothly as we work on our SHARED tree.
You should have just gotten an email with links you can use to get started. Once you confirm your email address, you'll have an option to volunteer to add information to WikiTree, beginning with tags for your own profile. Tags are surnames, locations, concepts, etc. in which you're interested.
When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will confirm your membership. Then you'll be able to add to the tree!
We're really glad you're here!
