She was a member of Glenlawn Apostolic Church in Seymour and was a homemaker. She had lived all her life in Jackson County.
Born April 26, 1914, in Jackson County, she was the daughter of Thomas and Cora Hines Jaynes. On February 22, 1932, in Vernon, she married James E. Trapp, and he died September 9, 1980.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Trapp. Brother Homer Roberts conducted graveside services on Thursday at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery.
