Minnie (Jeffers) Pierce was born in Ireland.

Mary was born in 1883. She was the daughter of Andrew Jeffers and Sarah Black. [1][2]

Mary A Jeffers emigrated from Ireland in 1906. She departed Liverpool, England on 30 October and arrived in Boston, Massachusetts, USA on 8 November 1906. Mary (23) a servant, along with fellow passenger & servant, Sarah Rutherford (29) both from Portadown, Ireland, intended on going to 96 South Sixth St, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Mary is described as 5'9" dark complexion, fair hair and grey eyes. [3] [4]

On 18 April 1910 [5] Irish born Minnie Jeffers (26) was a servant for George W Weymouth (59) President & Manager of Tack company & wife Emma J Weymouth (58) living in Main St, Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts.

In July 1913 Harriet Ellis, daughter Sarah Ellis and sister Minnie (Mary) Jeffers (29) Domestic, departed Boston, Massachusetts, USA on board SS Laconia and returned home to Ireland. They landed at Liverpool, England on 2 July 1913. [6]

Harriett Ellis (27), daughter Sarah Ellis (2) & Minnie Jeffers (29) returned on SS Arabic and arrived in Boston on 13 November 1913. [7]

On 1 January 1920 [8] Minnie A Jeffers (35) was servant for Joseph C & Clara E Nowell at Seventh Street, New Bedford Ward 5, Bristol, Massachusetts.

Minnie Jeffers married Charles Alton Pierce in 1920 in New Bedford, Bristol, Massachusetts [9] and in 1921 they lived in Bullock St, New Bedford.[10]

On 14 April 1930 [11] Mary Pierce (44) and Charles A Pierce (59) a Machinist in a Cotton Mill, lived in Cedar St, New Bedford, Bristol, Massachusetts. Also living with them were boarder Edward Rivard (4), Roomers William H Shaw (70), Margaret Ho*Yoes (21), widowed Margaret Simmons (40), Bertha Hicks (10) & Esther Hicks (8).

In April 1940 Minnie Pierce (56) a maid & Charles A Pierce (69) a machinist, lived in Cedar St, New Bedford, Bristol, Massachusetts with Lodger Everett Rivard (13) & Roomer Margaret Simmon (47). [12]

Charles passed away in 1941.

She passed away in 1943. [13]
