Biography

Samuel was born in 1845. He was the son of William Jeffers and Priscilla Amoss.

Samuel Jeffers married Mary E. Boshears April 4, 1872, in Scott County, Tennessee, USA.[1][2]

William Jeffers, a farmer, (age 51 and b, in TN) was head of a household in the 1870 census for Scott Co., TN. There were seven other Jeffers in the home. They were Priscilla (age 50 and b. in KY), Samuel (age 24), Emily J. (age 22), Martha A. (age 19), Emsley Jr. (age 18), Mary (age 15), and Sarah (age 13). All members of the home were b. in TN except Priscilla He passed away in 1900.[3]
