Biography

Ann was born in Fraisthorpe, Yorkshire, England, and baptised in Carnaby in 1830. She was the daughter of John and Hannah Jefferson.[1]
In 1841 and 1851 Anne lived with the Simpson family in Sandholme, Yorkshire.[2][3]
She married William Robinson in Eastrington, Yorkshire, in 1857.[4] The family lived in Eastrington in 1861, when William farmed 54 acres and employed one labourer.[5] In 1881 he farmed 240 acres at Newland in the parish of Eastrington.[6]
