DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Martha by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Martha:
Her parents' relationships were changed to "confident" due the to the lack of a proper DNA confirmation source citation. See the Help for DNA Confirmation.
Jefferson-310 and Jefferson-1880 appear to represent the same person because: I have included an image of a Covington family tree showing a branch of the Goode family. A notation at the bottom says their ancestral home was “Whitely” or Whiteby.”
Jefferson-596 and Jefferson-310 are not ready to be merged because: The dates for birth and death differ by too much so the match is unclear without further research.
