Hopefully I did not make any mistakes transcribing this information. I mostly fear turning b into a d or vis versa. Very small print from this old photo copy.
Based on my family's records John Thomas Jefferson is a great grand uncle of mine, via his younger brother Charles James Jefferson. His date of birth was 1854. Our records suggest he was born in Baltimore Md in 9/1/1854 and d. 11/30/1935. He joined the US Navy at age 12 as a cabin boy. 22 years on the US Constitution.

There is more. Just reply and I will see about getting more info. out there if you are interested. Anything you have about earlier ancestors would be helpful. Getting beyond Thomas Jefferson Jr. has been troublesome. I also have more dates for some of the children etc. Limited access to notes at the moment.

I figured as much but I am hopeful she will get this information. I seem to be slowly working out specifics on further Jefferson ancestors related to John and Thomas Jefferson (and their siblings) going back several generations at the moment. This is information she might be interested in.
Thanks again.
