On 14 July 1897, F. W. Jefferson, 26 years old, married Lima A. (indexed as "Linea") Carrier, 29 years old, in Elk County, Pennsylvania. The ceremony was performed by Amos Z. Myers.[3] Lima was the daughter of James Carrier, b. Connecticut, and Mercy Malinda Carrier, b. Pennsylvania.[4] Based on US Census records, they had at least the following children:

In 1900, Frank Jefferson and his wife Lima were living in Warsaw Township, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, with their son Gifford, 2.[5]
In 1910, Frank W. Jefferson, a 39 year old farmer, lived with his wife Lima and five children in Spring Creek Township, Elk, Pennsylvania.[6]
In 1920, Frank W. Jefferson, a laborer in a leatherworks, lived in Arroyo, Spring Creek Township, Elk, Pennsylvania, with his wife Lima, 5 children and 1 grandson.[7]
He died at the age of 52 on 6 Feb 1923 in Ridgway Borough, Elk, Pennsylvania.[1] He is buried at the Lake City Cemetery, Lake City, Elk, Pennsylvania, USA, where he shares a grave marker with wife Lima A.[8]
Letters regarding F. W.'s estate were entered into probate on 31 March 1923 in Elk County, Pennsylvania. Lima Jefferson was to be the administrator or executor.[9] She outlived him by 16 years and died in 28 Dec 1939 in West Manchester, York, Pennsylvania.[4]
