Died- Mrs. Martha Carr, age 64, on Tuesday, the 3rd inst., at Dunlora, the seat of Mr. Samuel Carr, of Albemarle. She was the widow of Mr. Dabney Carr, and the sister of Mr. Jefferson, late President of the U. S.
Martha is recognized as a Patriot by the D.A.R. and s.a.r. for having provided supplies to the troops. After the war she submitted a claim to be reimbursed.
