Brother of comedian Stan Laurel.
Died of complications with dental surgery - per his obituary, he failed to wake after his anesthesia. However, his death certificate states he died from acute abscess mediaslinum and purulent pericarditis. He had a huge infection in his throat and heart from which he did not recover. His death certificate named his parents and his current wife, Elizabeth L. Jefferson. Apparently, Edward had no children.[1]
Edward married first Agusta B Hein on 16 October 1922 in Los Angeles County, California. [2]. They divorced in May 1930 per a listing in the Los Angeles Times newspaper on 8 May 1930. [3]
