Biography

Anne was born in 1827 & baptised Ann Jefferson, 18 February 1827, Whitehaven, Holy Trinity, Cumberland the daughter of Robert Jefferson & Elizabeth. [1]

The marriage of Miles Ponsonby Knubley & Anne Jefferson was registered on 23 May1849, [2] Whitehaven, Cumberland. [3]

With Miles & son Edward in 1851, living in Scriven, Knaresborough. Miles was the assistant curate at Farnham.[4]

The marriage of Alfred Octavius Hartley & Ann Knubley was registered on 1860, Kendal, Westmorland. [5]

Living in 1881 at Steeple Ashton, Westbury, Wiltshire with daughter & husband Octavius. He was Vicar of Steeple Ashton with Pemington. [6]

Living with son Henry, at The Rectory, Staveley, Yorkshire in 1901. [7]

Ann died in 1905. [8]
