Alice Elizabeth Jeffery was born 30th November 1873, at Brenchley, Kent, the daughter of John Jeffery and Mary King.
Sometime during the mid-1870s, the Jeffery family left England, travelling halfway around the world to New Zealand.
On 18th August 1895, at New Plymouth, Alice married James Revell. They had four children: Eric, Alma, Rita and Rex. [1]
Alice Elizabeth Revell passed away in 1961, her age recorded as 88 years. New Plymouth District Council Online burial records show that, on 18th July 1961, she was interred at the Presbyterian Block: Row 12, Lot 18, Plot 2, in the Te Henui Cemetery. Her last abode was 195 Courtenay Street, and she died on 15th July, aged 88. [2]
