Biography
Nancy was born in Arkansas in 1924 to Emmett Bernard Jeffery and Allie Caldwell Jeffery.
Her mother passed away in a flood in the late 1920s, and she lived with her Caldwell grandparents, and her grandmother passed away a year later. In 1930 Census, she is living with her aunt in Detroit. [1] By 1940, she is living with several teenaged cousins and siblings with her Caldwell grandparents in Arkansas again.[2]
In 1944, she married her Karl Fehd before he went to the Navy in WWII. They had 4 children, and were life-long military family, living in Guam, and Hawaii, and Florida. They retired in Florida where 3 of their 4 children later settled.
She passed away in 2003 in Florida.
