Biography

When Laura Jeffrey was born in 1849 in Royalton, New York, her father, Richard, was 32, and her mother, Hannah, was 28. Their family was of the Nehantic tribe in Rhode Island/Connecticut and Montauk tribe of Long Island.

She married Horton Adams, and they had seven children.
