Anne was born about 1835. She is the daughter of William Jeffries and Susan Unknown. She married Edward Daines and later migrated to NZ with him

LIST of IMMIGRANTS for NELSON, embarked on board the WILD DUCK, which vessel sailed from Gravesend, for Wellington, on the 12th August, 1866:— Edward Daines; Ann Daines; Walter Daines; Rebecca Jeffries; Mary Ann Jeffries The above immigrants will be transhipped at Wellington to some steamer leaving for Nelson, and may be expected at Nelson a few days after the arrival of the Wild Duck at Wellington.
