"JEFFRIES.—On the 16th inst., at his daughter's residence, Clifton-street, Richmond, Joseph Jeffries, father of Mrs. Welsford, Mrs. Syle, Mrs. Goodwin, of Richmond, and Mrs. Allsop, of Ballarat. (Inserted by his widow.)"
Research Note
There is another Wikitree profile Joseph Jefferies (alternate) that also claims the same death record. This person cannot be the person who was also born in 1847 as per J. Manners' profile because the age at death does not match.
