She was united in marriage to David Benton on March 21, 1886. Mr. and Mrs. Martin were charter members of the Hester Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W.I. Herman and Mrs. Hubert Walters of La Grande, Oregon, 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and one sister. Mrs. Edward Minch, of Maywood, Missouri. She was Buried at Hester Cemetery, Hester, Marion County, Missouri.
