Disputed Origins

There are no reliable sources that show that Anne Ann (Jefferys) Puckett was the daughter of William Jefferys. Anne's profile shows she was born in 1628 in Virginia, when her supposed mother Mary (Gould) Jefferys would have been only 8 years old. There is no indication that WIlliam was in Virginia in 1628. William and Mary didn't marry until about 1642 according to Anderson's Great Migration series. Both parents have been detached as parents from Anne Jefferys's profile until quality sources are posted to the profile showing their relationship.
