Biography

Orley was born February 21, 1883 in Jay County, Indiana, the son of Fletcher Jellison and Mollie Kile.

The 1900 U.S. Census lists Orley at 17 years of age living with his parents and three siblings in Jefferson Township, Pulaski County, Indiana. ^[1]

Orley married Edith M Fisher on May 24, 1905 in Pulaski County, Indiana. Edith was 27 years old, the daughter of William and Mary E (Mororer) Fisher. ^[2]

The 1920 U.S. Census has Orley, his wife Edith, and sons Harold and Russel living in Phoebus, Elizabeth City County, Virginia. ^[3]

In the 1930 U.S. Census Oren is shown at age 47 with his wife and two sons living in Gary, Lake County, Indiana. ^[4]
