Lucy Jenison Twiss was born March 29, 1769 in Sutton, Worcester, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Peter Jenison and Mehitable Singletary.
Lucy married James Twiss on 2 May 1792 in Charlton, Worcester Ct., Massachusetts. Her grandmother's last name was Twiss, so he could have been a cousin.
He died 8 October 1825 in Chelmsford, MA.
They had at least one son, James J., who Lucy lived with when she was 81. She died 13 February 1851 in Charlton, Worcester, Massachusetts
