Luther Jenison was born 21 February 1798 in Auburn, Worcester, Massachusetts. He was the son of Peter Jenison and Mehitable Singletary.
He first married Lovina Polley 11 January 1806.
Than he married 4 Jul 1822 Sarah Crafts Conable (22 Jan, 1801) of Leyden, Massachusetts in Warsaw, Wyoming, NY.
In Gainesville they had Susan Emerancy and Mifflin Harker.
They moved to Rushford, New York, where Luther Alonzo , Andrew Jackson, and Samuel Peter, and Sanford were born.
Sarah died young and Luther did not remarry.He did eventually move in with his son Samuel Peter.
He died 13 September 1870 in Spring River, Sauk, Wisconsin.
