Biography
Joseph Jenkins was born on 17 March 1827 in London, England, the son of Elizabeth (Ward) Jenkins and John Jenkins.
He was christened on 10 June 1827 at Wycliffe Chapel Philpot Street - Independent in Stepney, London.[1]
He married Mary Ann Elizabeth Harrington on 1 August 1848 at Christ Church Spitalfields, London.[2]
Joseph and Mary Ann with infant daughter, emigrated to Victoria, Australia on the "Northumberland, arriving in October of 1853.[3]

Joseph died on 28 January 1874 at his home, 22 Swanston Street, Melbourne, Victoria.[7][8]
