In 1930 he was living in Slaton, Lubbock, Texas.^[2] The household included J Orville Jenkins 33, wife Daisy D Jenkins 33, son George W Jenkins 14, daughter Silvia I Jenkins 11, son John O Jenkins Jr 10 and son J W Jenkins 4. Orville was a boiler maker on a steam railroad.
