In the 1851 census Catherine (age 54) was the wife of Moses Ferriers in Dolly Dingle, Clyro, Hay, Radnorshire, Wales. Their 2 youngest children, George and Mary Anne were living with them.^[4]

Catherine's husband Moses died in 1853.

In the 1861 census Catherine (age 65), laundress formerly, was the widowed head of household living alone in Vineyard, Pentwyn, Clyro, Hay, Radnorshire, Wales.^[5]

In the 1871 census Catharine was the head of household, still living alone in Cottage, Clyro, Hay, Radnorshire, Wales.^[6]

Catharine passed away in 1873 aged about 78. She was buried on 24 August 1873 in Clyro, Radnorshire, Wales. Catherine's death was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1873 in the Hay district.^{[7] [8]}
