DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Stephen by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Stephen:

Jenks-1059 and Jenks-771 appear to represent the same person because: Presumably, this is the same person, with a shared birthdate. Stephen is among my direct ancestors.

Gerald, the mother of Stephen must have been Mary (Smith) Jenks, rather than Abigail -- as he was born much earlier than when Abigail married Stephen in 1787. This also resolves the inconsistency between a merge of Jenks-952 and Jenks-771. (This was further confirmed in White, 2002.) I am a 3x g-grandson of Stephen.
