Harriet M Jenks was born about 1834 in Pennsylvania to William and Ruth Jenks (per census).

Harriet M Jenks (age 16, born in Pennsylvania) resided with parents Wm and Ruth Jenks and siblings in Lincoln County, North Carolina in 1850.^[1]

William H. Hull married Harriet M Jenks in 1858 or 1859 in Cleveland County, North Carolina. The abstracted marriage report states that W. H. Hull and Harriet M. Jinks were married on 17 Jun 1858. But the image of the marriage book states that the return was received on 1 Feb 1859 and the date of marriage was not clearly filmed. (Could the date be 17 Jan 1859 instead of 17 Jun 1858?)^[2]

In 1860, Wm H. Hull (age 23, born in North Carolina) and wife H. M. Hull (age 26, born in Pennsylvania) resided in Catawba County, North Carolina.^[3]

William Hull and Harriet Jenks were the parents of Ella Maryetta per the abstract of the county death record which also stated that Ella was born 26 Sep 1860 in Catawba County and died on 1 Sep 1944 in Lincoln County. She was the widow of Alexander Keller.^[4]

Harriet Jenks married William H. Hull and her brother Orville B. Jenks married his sister Mary Ann Hull. Orville B. Jenks became administrator of the estates of William H. Hull and of Major Hull after the death of William H. Hull.
