Aldro was born in 1892.
Mr. Jenks attended Milwaukee Normal School and the Univ. of Wisc. He served in World War I and was been actively engaged in tax work after 1928. He served as senior supervisor of assessments with the Wisc. Tax Commission until 1940. At this time he accepted a position with the Univ. of Texas where he taught a course in taxation and finance, wrote, and the Univ. of Texas published, a ~~Manual For Texas Assessors; acted as Director of the Bureau of Municipal Research for a year and one half. In 1943, he accepted the position of Research Tax Director for the State of Conn. He was appointed, under life tenure, to the position of Tax Assessor of the City of Waterbury, Conn.
