She married Charles Herbert Leggott on 29 Aug 1911 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA.[2]Charles was an immigrant from Canada.
They had three daughters, Charlotte Loudy, Margaret Jones, and Nina Ogar. Their oldest daughter, Charlotte, died in childbirth and Charles and Nina raised the two grandchildren, Barbara and Donald Loudy, as their own. She died 3 Mar 1955.

Their home in Detroit on 600 Drexel Ave. was located between Jefferson Avenue and the Detroit River, which flows from Lake St. Clair to the North.

Nina was a descendant of: Joseph Jenckes II, "known as the founder of Pawtucket [Rhode Island]. A skilled ironworker, he had come to the New World to join his father, Joseph Jencks I, who had organized and operated the first American iron works in Saugus, Massachusetts."

Nina Mary Jenks and her Husband Charles Herbert Leggott lived at 600 (Formerly 212, changed by the city) Drexel, which was East of Jefferson Avenue, near the Detroit River, two to four miles from Downtown Detroit. The had a car garage in the back of the house that opened to an alley. Charles was a Canadian, naturalized American. It was a developed residential neighborhood. Their house was built about 1912. Small vendors selling dairy, fruits and vegetables, knife sharpening services and various other wares, servicing the street with pushcarts, horse carts, and later small trucks. They were within walking distance of all retail services on Jefferson Avenue, as well as access to the Streetcars running on Jefferson. They had a two story house with a basement and a coal fired furnace. Nina kept a piano in the living room. There was a formal dining room off the kitchen. The bedrooms were upstairs. They had three daughters, Charlotte, Margaret, and Nina.
