William was the eldest son of Fanny Read and Abraham Jenner. His baptism took place at St Mary Magdalene in Cowden.
He married in 1832 at Chiddingstone, Kent, to Eleanor (Ellen) Sears.
By the 1841 Census William and Ellen have 5 children, Ellen 8, George 6, William 4, Samuel 2 and an unnamed infant 9 days old ( Gideon? ). The family lived at Kent Water Mill, Cowden owned by Thomas Mellish, a Miller. A servant Caroline Barnett is employed by Thomas Mellish and also living there.
William became a Farmer running a property of 25 acres and employing 2 men in the parish of Shipbourne, Kent. He later increased the size of the property to 70 acres and had 4 men working for him. By 1891, William and Ellen were living at Budds Farm. William was now in his 70's and still farming and several of the grandchildren were living with them.
William Jenner died in 1896 aged 81. His death was registered in the March quarter at Tonbridge
