Biography

Alice Jane Jenner was born on the 30th September 1877 at Lowestoft, Suffolk, England and baptised on the 28th October 1877, at St. Margaret, Lowestoft, Suffolk, England, the daughter of James Jenner (fisherman)^[1] and Margaret Jenner of Lowestoft.

On the 2nd April 1904, Herbert Sydney married Alice Jane Jenner at St. Margaret, Lowestoft, Suffolk, England. Herbert Sydney Maxted, 24, bachelor, fisherman of 21 Norwich Road, son of John Maxted (fisherman); and Alice Jane Jenner, 26, spinster of 27 Lyndhurst Road, daughter of James Jenner (fisherman, deceased). Witnessed by Florence Louisa Solomon and Duncan McLeod^[1].

Prior to her death, Alice had been resident at 25 Bereford Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk, England^[2].

Alice Jane died on the 14th November 1926 at Suffolk District Asylum, Melton, Suffolk, England^[2].

Administration of her estate was granted to Herbert Sidney Maxted, fisherman, on the 9th December 1926. Effects: £291 15s. 10d.^[2]
