I'm puzzling with this one Brad. I am a Blakeney from Ireland, and am mapping out the Blakeneys in Nova Scotia, etc. When Peter Blakeney died at 92 in 1940, his mother was listed as "Liza Jennox". What is problematic is whether it was this Eliza jennex who was in the middle of her union with Seth Arnold, or Liza Jennex b. 1834, Elizabeth (Jennex) Arnold (1834-1925). She would have been just 13 at the time - unseemly but possible.

I'm inclined to say neither. Generally speaking , I've noticed, "Eliza" and "Elizabeth" were almost never used interchangeably. The other biographical details (ages, marriages) don't look like good matches either.
