Thanks for creating pre-1700 profiles like John Wright (abt.1627-), Roger Wright (abt.1627-), and Elizabeth Smelt (abt.1630-) (to name just a few).

However, our community guidelines require the use of reliable sources for creating pre-1700 profiles and those profiles are all unsourced. Also, when creating profiles, please provide your best guess of a location. Presumably you can guess at least the continent of birth or death, so at least put that, although, if you can guess a more precise location that is better. Then in the profile, you can describe the rationale for your guess when sources don't provide any direct evidence of a birth, death, or marriage location in the = = Research Notes = = section.

Therefore, please don't create any more pre-1700 profiles until you have had a change to go back and add sources to the profiles you have already created along with your best guess of birth, death, or marriage location if there is no source to support them. You can quickly locate the profiles tagged as unsourced that you manage here: https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Category:Unsourced%20Profiles&u=3612679 and target the ones born 1700 or earlier from that list. If you need help finding sources, please work with a Project that covers them. For example, the England Project can help with those born in England.
