GAFFNEY, SC -- Floyd M. Jennings, Jr., 76, of 824 Old Metal Road, Gaffney died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital. He is the husband of Peggy Hayes Jennings and the son of the late Floyd Bailey Jennings, Sr., and Emma Bean Jennings. He was a member of New Pleasant Baptist Church and was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War and was aboard the USS Thomas E. Frasier.

In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Bruce Lee Jennings and wife Emily of Gaffney, and Mickey Joe Jennings of Spartanburg and one brother, Gerald Jennings of Irving, TX, and by three grandchildren, Holly, Seth, Rachel Jennings. He is predeceased by four brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2008 at New Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, officiated by the Rev. George Holland and Bruce Lee Jennings.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Friday, April 4, 2008 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee.
