Former Resident Dead Mrs. Arthur C. Hawley (Nee Miss Addie Jennings) passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. Homer Bates, at Sutton, Que., on Saturday morning, Dec. 19th. After six months of suffering, being afflicted with acute Bright’s Disease. The deceased formerly resided in Gore Bay and had many friends here. She was a sister to Mrs. J. L. Baxter of Port Arthur and of the late Frank Jennings. Besides her bereaved husband she leaves one son, Lloyd, eight years old, to mourn her death.
