SOUTH BEND - Sister M. Grace Imelda Jennings, CSC, 94, of Our Lady of Holy Cross Convent, died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday in her residence. Sister M. Grace Imelda was born Feb. 11, 1900, in County Mayo, Ireland. She entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, Saint Mary's on June 27, 1924; was received as a novice on Jan. 6, 1925; and professed her vows on Jan. 6, 1927. She was assigned teaching in elementary schools in California, Utah, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona; was director of housekeeping at Saint Mary's Convent until 1977.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Church of Loretto, Saint Mary's. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Saint Mary's. Friends may call after 3 p.m. today in the church, where a wake will be at 7 p.m. Hickey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry with the Poor Fund, Bertrand Hall, Saint Mary's, Notre Dame, IN 46556
