All oral & written family history in my Turner family lists this Charity Jennings Turner as the wife of James William Turner. No mention of the name Israel. Some family trees list "James W Turner (Israel)." But Charity Freeman & Israel Turner had a child named Israel - so why call James Israel too? Can anyone shed any light on this subject? Please?
