Biography
Deborah was born about 1812 to Israel Jennings and Mabel Jennings. This part of the family tree gets a bit complicated. Deborah married Anderson H Wells. Her sister, Uriel, married Anderson's brother, Nelson Oliver Wells. When Uriel died, Nelson remarried to Jane Carrick in 1839. When Deborah's husband Anderson died in 1840, Nelson married her in 1841. (Whether Jane Carrick died or Nelson divorced her is unclear.)
Deborah and Anderson had a son Daniel. Deborah and Nelson had a son Charles. Those two half-brothers fought in the same Company in the Civil War.
Deborah lived in several states, including Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri and Texas. She outlived both husbands and passed away about 1890 at 78 years old.
