Americus Jennings did not have a birth date nor a death date in the green booklet, listed are the children and that he did fight in the civil war from beginning to end.. He was kept in yankee prison 6 years after the war. (dates are updated with new info.).

Henry was the last known veteran of Floyd County, GA and is buried at Myrtle Hills Cemetery,Rome, GA. USA. Also, William Johnson Jennings was the eldest to fight and Thomas H. Jennings was captured, nothing could be found about him since. Jonathan Sheilds noted his roots are linked to Reuben. "
