He was married 7 October 1911 in Madisoinville, Hopkins, Kentucky to Emma Belle Chappel.[1] They had five children.
He passed away 8 October 1970 in Hopkins County and was buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Dawson Springs, Hopkins County, Kentucky.[2][3]
