Sarah was born about 1805 to Robert Benjamin Jennings and Tabitha Lockhart in Georgia. She married there at age 19, but soon after moved to South Carolina. From looking at the 1840 Census, it becomes apparent not all of her children are listed below. After her husband died around 1845, she moved her family to Mississippi, where she passed away in 1854 at 49 years old.
